Absolutely flawless

When it comes to beauty this Christmas, it’s all in the brows…

ands down the biggest beauty trend of the past few years? Brows! A pair of neatly groomed arches lifts and frames the face, and can take off years. But that professional look hasn’t always been easy to achieve at home… until now. Here, in five easy steps – using Tweezerman expert tools – is how to get the brows you’ve always dreamed of.

Step 1: Illuminate

First, you need to be able to see what you’re doing! Tweezerman Tweezermate 10x Lighted Mirror, £18, shows up even the tiniest of hairs to ensure you achieve a precise, professional finish.

Step 2: Shape

Once you’ve mapped out your arch (hold a make-up brush from the corner of your nose straight up through the centre of your eye
– this is where your brow should arch), the Slant Tweezer, £20.95, lifts each strand right from the root, meaning no broken, prickly hairs.

Step 3: Refine

After general tweezing, use the Point Tweezer, £19.50, to reach those hard-to-grab, baby-fine stray hairs for a super-groomed look.

Step 4: Sculpt

Perfectly sculpt any unruly brows with the Brow Shaping Scissors & Brush, £22. First, sweep up brows with the brush to determine which hairs need trimming, then follow with the precision tips of the scissors to isolate and lift any longer hairs, cutting one at a time. To finish, reshape with the brush, following your natural brow line.

Step 5: Dramatise

To complement your fab new brows and complete the look, give your lashes some oomph with the Great Grip Lash Curler, £15. Using the curler all the way from lash line to tips will give lashes a bold curl that will really open up your face. Finish with a quick slick of mascara.
